agileBase’s has the facility to group data under headings whilst retaining the ability to sort and filter as per any normal view.

Note: This feature needs someone with “Admin” level privileges. To turn on grouping go to the manage tab of a view, click ‘advanced options’ and select ‘style = headings and rows’.

The view will then use the first column as a heading. A new heading will appear every time the contents of that column changes. Here’s an example.

You can include more than one column in the heading if you like by selecting ‘style = headings, subheadings and rows’.
